1. Controller

The person named in the Legal Notice is responsible for data processing within the meaning of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

2. This website

This website is hosted as a static site via GitHub Pages (GitHub Inc., 88 Colin P Kelly Jr St, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA). When you visit the site, GitHub as the hosting provider automatically processes technical access data (e.g. IP address, date and time of access, page accessed, browser used), as is technically necessary for any website visit. This website itself does not set its own cookies and does not integrate any analytics or tracking services. Details on processing by GitHub can be found in GitHub's privacy statement.

3. The "Radio Player Mini" app

Radio Player Mini is deliberately built without a user account, without ads, and without analytics/marketing tracking. The one exception is crash and error reporting via Sentry, see 3.5.

3.1 Local storage

Your station list, favorites, and settings are stored locally on your Mac (`UserDefaults`). This data doesn't leave your device unless you enable iCloud synchronization (see 3.2).

3.2 iCloud synchronization (optional)

If you enable iCloud synchronization in Settings, your station list and favorites are synced across your devices via your private iCloud account (Apple Inc.). This feature is off by default and is only used once you explicitly enable it. Apple's privacy terms for iCloud apply.

3.3 Station search (radio-browser.info)

The station search queries the open, community-run station directory radio-browser.info live. Your search term, as well as your IP address (technically necessary), is transmitted to this service's servers. Radio Player Mini itself does not operate its own station directory.

3.4 Playing radio stations

When you play a station, your Mac connects directly to that station operator's streaming server. Your IP address is technically necessarily transmitted to that provider — Radio Player Mini has no influence over or insight into this transmission itself, since the stream runs directly between your device and the respective station operator.

3.5 Crash and error reports (Sentry)

Radio Player Mini uses the service Sentry (Functional Software, Inc., 45 Fremont Street, San Francisco, CA 94105, USA — data processing takes place via Sentry's EU region) to automatically capture technical crashes and errors. This can include data such as: crash stack traces, app and OS version, device type, and your IP address (technically necessary). This data is used exclusively to fix bugs and improve app stability — not to build user profiles or for advertising purposes. More information can be found in Sentry's privacy policy.

4. Your rights

Under applicable law, you have the right at any time to:

• Access to your stored data (Art. 15 GDPR)
• Rectification of inaccurate data (Art. 16 GDPR)
• Erasure of your data (Art. 17 GDPR)
• Restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR)
• Data portability (Art. 20 GDPR)
• Objection to processing (Art. 21 GDPR)

Since Radio Player Mini stores your station list and favorites locally on your device, you can access, correct, and delete this data directly in the app at any time — e.g. via "Delete All Data" in Settings.
